Why should I know this?
We should learn for our dogs... because we care for them. We don't want our dogs to become victims of pet food companies' malpractice. We don't want our dogs to die like the thousands who did when eating commercial dog food.
We're the ones deciding what our dogs can eat. We are the ones who can read. We are the ones who can make the decisions. We can't be ignorant forever.
Pet food companies capitlize on the consumer's ignorance. They know the average consumer will buy their product when it's placed in a nice little package.
We should know better.
